Summer School Programs University of Bern

The highly complex topic of climate change is the subject of our interdisciplinary bachelor summer school, “Confronting Climate Change – from Science to Policy”, which takes place in August 2018.

The course comprises of keynote lectures by high-profile scientists; workshops to train and sharpen students’ disciplinary competence; and a simulation exercise of a multilateral climate conference. A field trip to the high-altitude research station on Jungfraujoch (3500m a.s.l.) will provide insights into the latest measurement technologies, as well as the impact of climate change. We would be happy to welcome your students to Bern, next summer.

The courses cover a variety of disciplines and are aimed at students of bachelor and master levels, as well as PhD students and professionals. The complete program for 2018 is now available on the following web page: www.unibe.ch/summerschools
