Diversity & Inclusion International Training Week of Facultad Padre Ossó, Univesity of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain

We are pleased to inform you that the registration for the upcoming organized by the Erasmus+ and the Mobility Department of Facultad Padre Ossó (University of Oviedo), IS NOW OPEN.

The training will be held from 3rd to 7th June 2019 and targeted to lecturers in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Social Education and Occupational Therapy, who will participate in workshops and practical activities.

The training program aims to promote and share “best practices” in diversity and inclusion. Facultad Padre Ossó develops a variety of projects that offer skills to professionals and people to build and sustain social commitment. Our main objective is to train teachers, therapists and educators who will work with functional disabled people to permit their inclusion in educational systems.

The participation fee is 100€, which includes welcome pack, work materials, cultural activities, coffee breaks and espicha(farewell dinner).

The registration deadline is 31st March, 2019.

The First Ever Czech-German Erasmus+ Staff Training Week 2019

The Technical University of Liberec (TUL) and Zittau/Goerlitz University (HSZG)

are pleased to invite European partners and academic institutions worldwide to our first jointly held cross-border Erasmus+ Staff Training Week! Take the opportunity to explore two universities and their cultural settings in one week! The event will be held from 13 to 17 May 2019 in both the Czech Republic and Germany.

We are looking forward to welcoming colleagues especially from international offices and admissions units. We accept a maximum of 25 persons limited to two per institution. The working language will be English.

The main objectives of the staff week are

  • to exchange best practices of international activities among colleagues working in internationalization,
  • to investigate requirements and elements of emergency action plans,
  • to discuss mobility management methods with focus on application procedures and the respective digital instruments and
  • to identify successful marketing strategies to increase student and staff mobility activities in general.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their home university in two mini-student fairs at both TUL and HSZG.

We will charge a participation fee of 100,- EUR which will cover the transport from TUL to HSZG in Zittau and Goerlitz, lunch from Monday to Thursday, dinner on Tuesday (Liberec, CZ) and Thursday (Zgorzelec, PL) and the Goerlitz guided tour. In addition, there will be an optional brewery and castle visit in the Czech Republic on Friday.

Participants may be eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ Staff Training grant in order to cover costs related to this mobility (transportation, accommodation etc.). Please refer to your institution’s international office for further information!

Lisbon 8th International Week STT & STA

Politécnico de Lisboa (IPL – Lisbon University of Applied Sciences) is pleased to invite you to take part in the 8th International Week STT & STA Erasmus that will be held 16th - 20th April 2018 (please find enclosed the short program).
The international week is jointly organized by Politécnico de Lisboa and their eight branches higher school or institutes.
As your institution is an important cooperation partner for us, we would be glad to receive a representative of your institution for the event.          

The purpose of the international week is to exchange experiences, benchmark and network, share best practices, enhance co-operation as well as international and intercultural interaction. In addition to these you will have an opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues from IPL, branch schools and participants from other countries.
It would be glad to welcome teachers for a STA mobility (lectures – 8 hours- in all areas of study, based on interinstitutional agreements) and STT mobility for non-teachers staff from all administrative departments and other associated fields of work.
Participants will thus have the chance to get to know the different units of Politécnico de Lisboa, according to their interests. 
What can you expect?

·         Getting to know the Politécnico de Lisboa: mission, organization, and structure;
·         Getting to know IPL’s branch schools;
·         Discussions about your fields of work and about other kind of cooperation possibilities;
·         Getting to know different educational systems;
·         Holding and participating in Workshops;
·         Networking colleagues from all over Europe;
·         Socialize and exploring the beautiful city of Lisboa.

There will be no participation fees but we are kindly asking the participants to cover their own travel, accommodation and other expenses through the Erasmus+ staff exchange programme or otherwise.
The language of communication will be English.

Estland, Narva: TU Narva College CLIL conference 25.04-26.04

Narva College of the University of Tartu is delighted to invite you to the 7th international ELT and CLIL conference “CLIL and ELT: Changing English, Changing Content” April 25-26, 2019 an ELT and CLIL conference which continues the traditions of international ELT conferences (2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017) hosted by Narva College.

The conference aims at providing a platform for the discussion and dissemination of research and good practices in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) with a special focus on research insights, innovative ideas and hands-on techniques.

There are three key conference sub-themes:

English Language Teaching and Learning (ELT); 

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL);

Teacher Training for Multilingual and Multicultural Schools.

The event is supported by the USA Embassy in Tallinn, and The British Council in Tallinn.

Litauen: Invitation to Siauliai University International Week 2019

Šiauliai University would like to invite you and your colleagues to participate in the annual XIV International Staff Mobility Week on the 8th – 12th of April, 2019.

Our International Staff Mobility Week targets all staff members from partner universities interested in knowing about Šiauliai University as well as sharing teaching and training experience - we are welcoming both academics and administrative staff to our event. Participants will be asked to present their institutions at the International Study Fair to Šiauliai University and international community. We kindly ask to bring promotional material about your institution, county as well as some traditional food for Introduction of Participants.

Ungarn, Kecskemét: John von Neumann University International Week 2019

John von Neumann University is pleased to announce its 1st International Erasmus Week from 09 April to 12 April 2019. It will be an opportunity for coordinators, academic and administrative staff to increase cooperation among institutions, to share best practices, to have a possibility to teach, to visit lectures and seminars. Our event also includes some cultural components with the possibility to visit some places of interests in Kecskemét or in Szolnok.

Ungarn: ELTE Intercultural Training

The training will be held from 20th to 24th May 2019 and targeted mainly to staff members of higher education institutions who work with international students and staff on the day-to-day basis and have at least one-year work experience in this area.

The training program aims to promote intercultural communicational skills and competence especially for those who engage in intercultural encounters in their everyday work, who have a lot of experience but feel that they need to further develop their skills to be more successful.

Participants who participate actively at the full course will receive a Certificate of attendance at the end of the training.

The participation fee is 150 EUR, which includes welcome package, work materials, cultural programs, coffee breaks and farewell dinner.

The registration deadline is 15th February 2019.
