Re-registration Process

You can re-register online via the HISinOne university portal during the re-registration period. Please note that only the account holder can issue a SEPA mandate. If you would like a third party (e.g. parents) to pay on your behalf, please ensure that they transfer the amount to your account.

When you re-register via the online service, you can pay your re-registration fee by direct debit and will be re-registered immediately. Use the 'Re-register' function to register for the next semester. Please check that the amount to be debited is correct before proceeding. Once the re-registration period has expired, re-registration is only possible via bank transfer, subject to an additional reminder fee.

Payment and Certificate

Payment will usually be taken 5-10 working days after you have authorised it. Therefore, your bank account should have the corresponding amount available. The direct debit authorisation you give is valid for re-registration in the respective semester only, and must be renewed each semester.

After re-registering online, you can immediately print out your enrolment certificates for the new semester.

Re-registration via bank transfer

If re-registration via HISinOne is not possible, you have the option of re-registering by bank transfer. You will find your individual payment reference on HISinOne under ‘Payments’. Please note that in the case of a bank transfer, the University of Education Freiburg will not receive the payment until 5-10 working days later. Only then can you generate your new enrolment certificates.
