Senate

The Senate decides on matters of research, teaching and studies at our university that are of fundamental importance and that are not delegated by law to another body, the faculties, or the university institutions.

The Senate confirms the election of the full-time members of the Rectorate and elects the part-time members. It has decision-making powers, particularly in connection with the establishment, modification and cancellation of degree programmes and higher education institutions, the Basic Order and in the area of the statutes to be adopted by the university.

The Senate is composed of members by virtue of their office and members elected by the university.
