TEHIC: ERASMUS+ project for the development of a "Heritage Interpretation" curriculum

The WG "Physical Geography and Sustainability" at the Institute of Geography and Geography Education is a partner in the TEHIC project (together with AIP Sevilla, University of Zagreb, Mapa Portugal, led by the University Gotheborg). The aim is to develop a standardised training curriculum and corresponding training content in the field of heritage interpretation and to strengthen the recognition and professionalisation of Heritage Interpretation (HI).
Specific objectives are the collection, analysis and exchange of best practice examples in the field of nature and culture education and the development of a Massive Open Online Course in HI at university level. Furthermore, to raise awareness of the value of cultural and natural heritage and the need to protect it.
